This week we’re going to continue our discussion on different aspects of coming out, by focusing on biological families and their support or non-support. You’d think, with all the progress we’ve seen for LGBTQ people in the past two decades, that every parent, sister, brother, cousin and other relative would be on board. Sadly, we’re not there or even close. Bias and homophobia continue to cloud many LGBTQ people’s relationship with their biological family.
